Just wanted to let you know that I have been too busy to post everyday like I had wanted to.  Due to the enormous legal fees a case like this can cost I had to release my attorney.  I will be a Pro Se Plaintiff giving it my best shot.  Unless of course some awesome animal loving attorney would like to do some pro bono work.

So today I have received word that the judge assigned to my case has ordered mediation.  I expect this to happen within the next ten days.  Any advice?

What do you think about this rude email I received while trying to spread the word about Vaccine Associated Sarcoma...................."As far as I'm concerned, your email is spam.  I am reporting it, and I expect NEVER to hear from you again. I've been aware of the vaccine problem for decades.  I don't understand why others are not"..............I wish she had told me about the vaccine problem, I trusted my vet.  I wonder who she reported me to?  Does anyone know?

An excerpt.... follow the money. Take a look at  the Web site for the American Association of Feline Practitioners, which touts  itself as "veterinary professionals passionate about the care of cats." They  helpfully have posted a
list of industry "partners" on their Web site. First  name, as a "platinum" member? Fort Dodge Animal Health, the vaccine people. And when we look at the AAHA sponsors list, we find these: Pfizer Animal Health (vaccines), Merial (vaccines), Fort Dodge (vaccines), Novartis, Lilly, Schering-Plough, all the pet vaccine producers. So our pets are being vaccinated according to guidelines drawn up not by independent evaluation of the efficacy and safety of pet vaccines but by those who "partner" with the producers of the vaccinations themselves. Vaccine
manufacturers are the ones deciding how often your pets should be vaccinated; is  it any surprise that you're called into your vet's office for yearly boosters?  Remember to.... Educate Before You Vaccinate.

Much of the sudden interest in feline heartworm disease could be prompted by a new 'syndrome' coined by a major manufacturer of veterinary drugs: Heartworm Associated Respiratory Disease, or HARD. Coincidentally … or not … the same drug company sells a heartworm preventive for cats. Other than a 4 year-old abstract of a small experiment involving very few cats and a great many infected mosquitoes, there appears to be no substantiation for this new 'syndrome.'  Read the entire story here....

I just spoke to my sister who lives in New York.  Her mother in law's six year old cat was just diagnosed with Vaccine Associated Sarcoma or Injection Site Sarcoma.  She took her cat to Banfield Pet Hospital and spent $600 on the biopsy.  And they say this is rare?  Please send me your story.

Vaccines for Cats: We Need to Stop Overvaccinating
Lisa A. Pierson, DVM

This is an excellent site that I encourage all animal owners to visit. Her goals in writing this page are to get the reader to:
stop blindly over-vaccinating their cats
apply more critical thought - including reading the studies
NEVER ALLOW AN ADJUVANT TO BE INJECTED INTO THEIR CAT
I wish I had know this information, my beloved Kitty Kat WAS injected with an adjuvanted vaccine.

Suspicious of anti-vaccine "propaganda," Dr. Gary Norsworthy, a feline practitioner in San Antonio, Texas, says he'll booster annually until he sees "hard evidence" not to.
Hmmm does he read the veterinary medical journals?
